For exercise 9 + 10, we created a new web page with at least 5 words, separated twice with at least 5 spaces, include at least 5 break <br> tags, have a picture with the entire link copied with absolute referencing, and change the width and height.  Refer to lessons 9 and 10 if you are more than mildly confused.

Today we covered lessons 11-13 in period 6, we’ll do this in period 3 Thurs.

What I’ll check:

Include 3 pictures, one wide, one thin, one normal.  Add an alt tag to one picture, include an email hyperlink and a picture hyperlink.

Lesson 22

#22

Read through lesson 22.  To apply #22:

Copy the text of an article from Wikipedia onto a new webpage you create.  It needs to be long enough that you will have to scroll down your web page to see it all.

Above the text added above, create 3 text pictures using paint (for example, a Home link, a Google link, and a link to an area near the bottom of your page, perhaps “Population,” (if you copied an article on a country).  Put those pictures in a table, at least 2 columns, 3 rows.  Turn 2 of 3 of those pictures into hyperlinks to outside sites.  Turn the last one into a bookmark, as covered in lesson 22.

Save this to show me when I return.

28

Finish 22

29

Complete #24 as shown in the tutorial.  Save it and I’ll look at it when I return.

Read through lesson 25.

To apply #25, using the <pre> tag, create a drawing using text.  Take at least 10 lines.   Make it unique.  If you can’t think of anything, write out Snohomish and have a drawing of a Panther.

Add a comment to #25, with your name, be sure to save it so you can show it to me when I return.
